The itinerary

Walk Through The Fish Market and Shipyard

First, we will go to the early morning fish market in Manta, where you can see the fishermen coming in from their morning fishing tasks, unloading their catch, and preparing them for selling.

There is a wide variety of catches here in Manta, and it is quite a show to watch!

A few steps to the Fish Market, you will see the construction and repair of large wooden fishing boats at the shipyard.

Go Up The Hill and Hike

We would then go to the Pacoche Wildlife Refuge, just 30 minutes from Manta. Here you would go on a ~1h30 walk through the forest with a nature guide and your tour English Speaking Guide.

After the walk, we will have a well-deserved lunch at a typical coastal restaurant with lovely relaxing ocean views.

San Lorenzo’s Lighthouse Viewpoint

Digestion walk to this great viewpoint? We say yes! For the ones that prefer not to walk, there’s a viewpoint step away from the van.

The coastal town of San Lorenzo is also part of Pacoche Wildlife Refuge.
